Michael Johns is a senior at UT pursuing a double major in Finance and Business Honors. Michael hopes to use his finance experience to help entrepreneurs grow their ideas.
Director of Development
Jeff Auster is a second year Chemical Engineering Honors student at UT. Having industry experience as an analyst in both market research and engineering consulting, Jeff seeks to apply his skills to provide greater entrepreneurial opportunities on campus.
Director of Impact
Katherine Allen is a junior at UT pursuing a dual degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.S). and Plan II (B.A.). After serving on several startup teams, she realized that pre-seed capital was necessary to accelerate the growth of student run ventures.
Jacob is Managing Director at PWJ Strategies where he supports technology and organizational development through business analytics, systems engineering, and strategic planning. As Director of the RVC Venture Capital Analytics program, he leads analysts with investment banking, law, business, engineering, and financial backgrounds to perform pre-investment due diligence. Jacob is also Venture Partner with RVF.
Clarke Rahrig is a Program Manager at Microsoft in the Windows and Devices Group. Clarke works on a team delivering development kits and services needed by Microsoft's hardware partners to get Windows running on consumer and enterprise devices. Clarke is an alumnus of UT Austin's ECE department where he focused on software design. Clarke is always working on a personal project, formerly including a website solving a parking problem and a mobile based music application.
Daniel is a sophomore Business Honors and MIS major at UT Austin and is pursuing certificates in the Core Texts and Ideas and the Business, Government, and Society program. Daniel has wide-ranging experience with startups as both a founding team member and as an intern, and he is the current Director of the Longhorn Entrepreneurship Agency.
Scott Kennedy is a freshman Business Honors major interested in pursuing an additional major in Marketing or Finance. Excited by seeing glimpses of the Austin startup scene, Scott became involved with Genesis in hopes of fostering the best possible environment for entrepreneurship that UT can offer.
Krishna is a senior Honors Sociology student at UT Austin and is pursuing a minor in Business. She has worked with many startup teams and hopes to use her experience to help student entrepreneurs make a difference.
Kelsi Kamin is a senior Corporate Communication major at UT, pursuing minors in Computer Science and Business. She hopes to make UT the best campus in the world to pursue entrepreneurship by connecting student startups with the resources they need to grow.

After growing up in Flint, MI, Nick moved to Austin to attend UT Austin where he discovered the beauty of innovation and entrepreneurship. Nick started the Longhorn Entrepreneurship Agency as a student, earning him an invitation to the Friar Society at UT, and now works for Capital Factory as a Startup Champion. He was the Genesis Program's first alumni donor and still consistently supports our team and portfolio companies with marketing and growth.
Zach is a first year MBA student at the Stanford Graduate School of Business. Before moving out to California, he worked as a Reservoir Engineer for BHP Billiton where he helped develop the first long-term plan for their Eagle Ford Production Unit. In addition to BHP, Zach has experience at the Boston Consulting Group, BP, and Exco Resources and graduated with degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Plan II from UT.
Andrew is Chairman of Metaneer Labs Inc., a software development company building iOS applications for customers within 7 day turnaround timeframes. Andrew has worked with both large, established companies and brands as well as small, agile businesses. A serial entrepreneur, self-taught developer, and alumnus of both UT Austin and Stanford University, Andrew has co-founded 3 companies, worked with over 150 startups, and currently advises multiple businesses.
