Project Manager - Operations
Any Major, Any Year

Who We Are
Genesis enables UT Austin student innovators and leaders to reach their greatest potential by providing them with mentorship, startup capital, and real-world investment experience. We have raised over $1.8M to achieve this mission and are growing our team in order to multiply our impact on the UT entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Your Team - Operations
Operations is directly responsible for creating and implementing structures that empower the Genesis team to move together and scale rapidly. This is a perfect role for those seeking a career in consulting, product management, project management, or operations, given that you’ll be responsible for optimizing processes and building solutions to help Genesis run efficiently. Operations is intimately involved in managing strategic partnerships, working to set and track organizational goals through Objectives and Key Results (OKR’s), and collaborating to create and integrate productivity tools for our various divisions and portfolio companies.
Genesis is structured to take advantage of the 80/20 rule, whereby 20% of each team member’s time is spent outside of their assigned project area on initiatives that both are both high impact and of personal interest to the team member. In other words, you’ll also have 20% of your time to explore new projects within Genesis.

Your Role - Project Manager
Operations associates work directly with the managing partner to advance our mission both by deploying strategic initiatives within Genesis and creating impactful tools and processes for our various teams. Operations associates learn the skills to be successful product leaders, COO’s, and entrepreneurs by focusing on the big picture while driving a culture of attention to detail for everything they build.
